Harper Bloom

After a two-year creative pause, queer indie-pop artist Harper Bloom makes a powerful comeback with the release of ‘All The Kids’, a poignant exploration of self-discovery and musical evolution. Recorded in London with acclaimed producer Charlie Westropp (Maisie Peters, Gabrielle Aplin), the single marks a significant transformation in Harper Bloom’s artistry and personal journey.

Originally celebrated for her indie-folk anthems that captivated audiences in 2021, Harper returns with a refined sound that melds nostalgic indie-pop with lyrical storytelling. ‘All The Kids’ captures the essence of youthful spontaneity and the enduring memories of early adulthood. The track emerged from a casual pizza and songwriting session with friend and now co-writer Tim Cox, reflecting on Harper’s early days in Melbourne and a memorable house party that epitomised the carefree spirit of her twenties. The music video, shot in a huge Carlton share house with Lawrence Phelan and Matt Wallace at Recliner Films (Angus and Julia Stone, Missy Higgins) encapsulates the reflective and nostalgic themes of the song.
