Grace VanderWaal

Introducing Grace VanderWaal. Having first gained notoriety by winning America’s Got Talent at the age of 12 as a quirky singer-songwriter with an unmistakable voice, the now 20 year old is moving beyond her child-star image and reintroducing herself as the mature artist she has become. Today, Grace makes her highly anticipated return to music with her new single, ‘Call It What You Want‘.

Marking the start of a new era for Grace VanderWaal, the song, which is written by Grace in tandem with the main producer John Samuel Gerhart tells the story of a confusing situationship where both parties are reluctant to let go.

“‘Call It What You Want’ is a story between two people in denial”, Grace says about the song. “A romanticized  justification in pursuit of avoiding the truth at all cost ‘this isn’t real’…There’s also a sense of desperation, this is this precious thing that I must control and hide, we binge our love at night”. Grace’s hauntingly enchanting vocals paired with guitars and emotive synthesizers adds an emotional narrative to the song that keeps listeners yearning for more.

The new single is only a taste of what Grace has to offer to her fans within the next few months. With a new project on the way, due to release in 2025, the return of Grace VanderWaal is truly one that fans have been waiting for and do not want to miss out on.
