Anchored by ethereal synths and a standout hook courtesy of Rico Nasty, ‘my way’ is an infectious Jersey club outing that harkens back to the euphoric, danceable records that came out of the post-lockdown era. “Rico killed her verse and hook,” 9lives says of the track. “It feels to me that she’s talking about her ex, and that nothing is going to get in her way of moving on.
