Red stockings wearing, online backgammon addict and Swedish-pop fetishist, Monique is happiest when she is working with, listening to or rambling about music. Her passion for waxing lyrical about melodies has resulted in over 8 years filled with music retail, freelance music journalism (Drum Media, Inpress, Wasted Magazine, Lost At E Minor), Music Editor at The Pelican, talent scouting for unsigned band initiatives (WotNext Music) and music publicity (Creative Vibes).
During her time at independent label/distributor, Creative Vibes, Monique managed iconic labels, ONE LITTLE INDIAN, WAGRAM, MUSIC FOR DREAMS, SMALLTOWN SUPERSOUND and DC RECORDINGS. Monique was responsible for overseeing campaigns for the likes of LINDSTROM, PADDED CELL, FAMILJEN, LAND OF TALK and KELLI ALI. Loaded with knowledge acquired from an array of experiences including an internship at the Melbourne Fringe Festival, employment as Online Social Networking Specialist at a boutique production company and owning her own jewellery design company.
