Lou Sanz in NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN
09 Jun 2011
After a sold out season at the Sydney Comedy Festival, Melbourne-based writer / blogger / comedian / loquacious potty mouth Lou Sanz is back for three nights only with her new show, Not Suitable For Children.
As the title suggests, the performance is a collection of ‘children-themed’ stories definitely not suitable for children. Or publication. Or adults who are easily offended. Such titles include: ‘Carla the ethnic’, ‘Let’s Get Wet Together’, ‘Annie You’ll Never Amount to Anything’, ‘Adventures of a Catholic School Girl’ and ‘If Only You Looked More Like a Man’. You get the idea.
Lou won ‘Most Promising Debut @ Comedy at Trades’ for her 2009 Melbourne International Comedy Festival show Dear Lou. In the same year she received a Moosehead Award for her comedy installation piece Who is Priscilla Irving? and produced The Age Critics Award winning show Celia Pacquola in Am I Strange. Lou is also an award winning screenwriter (Sony/Columbia TriStar Screen Scholar 2) and RAW Comedy National Finalist 2008. She is currently developing her next feature with Warp Films Australia, producers of Snowtown.
Allow Lou to offend you gently this June at Sydney’s iconic local theatre, TAP Gallery.
